I’m Holland the manager of Studio Solent and your teacher!
Movement is my home, and I know first hand how important it is to create space for both your body and mind. Yoga is a journey I’ve been deeply curious about for years, and in November 2024, I travelled to Bali and became a certified yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Before that, I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Dance Science: Health and Wellbeing in 2021, followed by an MA in Dance: Advanced Practice in 2022. I'm also a certified and practising Personal Trainer, and Dance Teacher (Safe in Dance International, SiDi Cert).
Studios have always felt like home to me, and I’m beyond excited and grateful to now share that feeling with you. Over the past two years, I’ve worked as a Personal Trainer on the gym floor, where I’ve witnessed the trans-formative power of tailored movement. My clients—many of whom come to me dealing with the effects of a hectic lifestyle, injury recovery, and poor posture—have found new energy and relief through personalised alignment coaching. Combining strength with mobility, and infusing joy in movement and breath control, is key to unlocking your body’s potential and feeling your absolute best. Yoga, with its ancient wisdom, is a lifelong practice. It’s not only about the physical postures; it’s about spiritual growth and self-awareness. Yoga, dance, the gym and the communities I'm part of have taught me how to show up in life as the best version of myself, and I am excited to guide you on your journey to do the same.
